What Witches Believe

Witches believe in a Divine power, an element of the ultimate energy source that created the universe, and that the Earth is
a  manifestation of Goddess energy - the results of the power of the Great Mother.

We use rituals to connect with our deities, to celebrate a season or a phase of the moon,
and to observe and celebrate a life cycle event.

We use magic, the spirit within you to understand, contact, and gain some control, to get results.

We use spells…a magical ceremony for a specific purpose.  It denotes a state in which a conscious mind and psychic mind
are attuned in while the Witch senses energies, gives them a purpose and releases them toward a magickal goal.
They are usually nonreligious and accompanied with words.

We do not believe in Satan or hell.  We believe in personal responsibility.
We have free will over the choices we make.  Ultimate responsibility lies within.

We live by Seven Hermetic Laws:
1. Mentalism: The All is Mind
2. Correspondence: As above, so below
3. Vibration: nothing rests
4. Polarity: everything is dual
5. Rhythm: ebb and flow
6. Cause and Effect: action and reaction
7. Gender: male and female
